Computer Engineering & Information Technology

The department of computer technology was established in 1985 to cater the need of trained person power in Information Technology. Starting with Master of Computer Applications in 1985, the department now has a Bachelor of Computer Engineering and Master of Computer Engineering. A degree course of Information Technology was introduced in the year 2001. The department is located in the southern wing on the ground, first and third floor and is supported by well equipped Computer Center in Quadrangle. 
State-of-the-art computing laboratories are equipped with the latest machines, software and are networked to the client machines throughout the department. Emphasis is laid on fundamentals of computer science and engineering supported by laboratory practicals.
